A spongy drain field is not a pump-only visit
Pumping a full tank does not repair a saturated field. Wes records the wet ground so the company is not surprised.
If the grass over the laterals is soggy on a dry day, the field may be failing. A pump-out can lower the tank today. It does not replace lines.
Wes asks whether the wet spot is at the lid or farther out in the yard. That distinction is what the pumper hears before they drive.
He does not promise a new field. He books the call and says a local company will call back.
